10 AMAZING Lipsticks Under 10 Dollars

Hey everyone! If you know me at all, then you would know that one of my favorite makeup products is lipstick. I love being able to change up my look with a bold lip, or wear a nude lip to accentuate a bold eye look. I have so many lipsticks that my drawers are overflowing! One thing that is hard is finding quality lipsticks that are an affordable price. As a college student, I want to inform other people who may be on a budget of quality products that they can try that won’t break the bank!

Here are my top 10 favorite Lipsticks under $10!

  1. Colourpop Lippie Stix in Brink– $5.50
  2. NYX Lip Lingerie in Ruffle Trim-$7.00
  3. Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick in Shade 08– $5.99
  4. NYX Lip Lingerie in Exotic-$4.89
  5. Colourpop Liquid Lipstick in Sunday-$6.50
  6. Wet N Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Lipstick in Give Me Mocha-$2.59
  7. Burt Bee’s Lipstick in Nude Mist -$9.00
  8. Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme in Allure-$9.00
  9. NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme in Cannes-$4.54
  10. ELF Moisturizing Lipstick in Crazy Cranberry-$3.00

This list features a variety of formulas and brands that I have discovered over my years of loving makeup. Overall, I prefer a matte finish, as you may be able to tell from the list, but I also have days where I want a satin or glossy finish! (Side note: while not necessarily as affordable as the lip products on this list, I just got the Fenty Gloss Bomb and it’s my current favorite glossy lip product if you want to check it out!)

While I do love myself some high-end lipsticks from Sephora, I love finding products of equal quality for an affordable price. Thank you all for reading! Let me know some of your favorite affordable lipsticks in the comments below!

Colourpop: An Affordable Makeup Brand You NEED to try

Makeup can be crazy expensive. Have you ever walked into Sephora and immediately felt overwhelmed looking at the prices? Don’t you just wish that there was a brand that combined both quality and affordability in one?!

Well…there is! ColourPop has been on of my favorite brands for years now. They introduced their brand to Sephora with holiday sets near Christmastime, which was amazing to see, since most of the products featured in the store are high-end, aka expensive. It would be nice to see a permanent collection here.

ColourPop’s main source of  business comes from their website. I recently placed an order with them and I thought it would be fun to share what I purchased, and shed some light on this amazing brand!

The first thing I knew that I wanted to try was their new concealer. On March 29th they expanded their concelaer shades, and now have 30 shades total! This is great as all skin tones can be accommodated. I purchased the concealer after hearing a ton of hype about it, and it definitely lives up to the reviews. It covers exactly what I need it to, and it’s such a perfect consistency: not too thick, not too light! The only negative thing I have to say is that it slightly oxidizes once on the skin, so I would recommend getting a lighter shade than you usually do!

Light 10 No Filter Concealer

No Filter Concealer in “Light 10”: $6.00

Next, gong along with face products, I decided to try out some of their bronzers since I recently ran out of my HOOLA by Benefit Bronzer, which I love. So this new bronzer had to meet my standards- and I have to say it definitely does! I love the shade and I think it’s perfect for my skin tone, which is hard to find a bronzer that does not look muddy on my pale skin. I highly recommend!

CA Dreaming light golden brown Pressed Powder Bronzer

Pressed Powder Bronzer in “CA Dreaming”: $8.00

I also ran out of my staple brow pomade from Anastasia Beverly Hills, so I wanted to try ColourPop’s. I think that this is my favorite thing I got, because I find the formula to be just as long-wearing and high quality as my $18 Anastasia one! Another plus: they have a great shade range for people with lighter hair, which is something that Anastasia lacks, as their lightest shade was definitely too dark to go with my light hair color.

Blondie eye Brow Pot

Precision Brow Colour in “Blondie”: $6.00

I also needed to repurchase my all time favorite highlighter. This is the best, most intense highlighter I have ever tried, and its consistency is so unique. It is almost a wet-like formula, which makes it look extra intense and AMAZING for inner corner highlight. The product description describes it as “buttery soft” and it definitely is!

Flexitarian intense white champagne Super Shock Highlighter

Super Shock Highlighter in “Flexitarian”: $8.00

Finally, I had to pick up some of the classic matte liquid lipsticks that ColourPop is so well-known for. The formula is smooth, dries down beautifully, and stays place all day. The only thing I have to say about their lipstick collection is that they tend to look a lot different on the lips than in the bottle, they usually come out darker, but maybe that’s just me! Regardless, these lipsticks are amazing and such a good price for the quality (just like the rest of the items)!

Flurries mauve pink Ultra Matte lipstick

Ultra Matte Lip in “Flurries”: $6.50

Sunday soft dusty pink Ultra Matte Lipstick

Ultra Matte Lip in “Sunday”: $6.50

* I always seem to buy almost identical shades haha*

Overall, I would recommend this brand to anyone who wears makeup. You can buy high quality makeup for a price that doesn’t hurt your wallet!
